AI Sameness Checker

What this does

Paste any page's copy and see how much of it sounds like every other AI-written website: stock phrases, uniform sentence rhythm, repeated openers and empty claims. It runs in your browser. Nothing you paste is sent anywhere.

The example above is typical AI-generated homepage copy. Replace it with your own.

    How the score works

The checker looks for patterns that show up again and again in AI-written marketing copy. Each pattern adds to the score, from 0 (reads like a specific business) to 100 (reads like everyone else).

    Stock phrases
Phrases AI tools reach for constantly, like "tailored solutions" or "in today's fast-paced world". Each one is highlighted in your text.
    Even rhythm
People write sentences of very different lengths. AI copy tends to settle into a steady middle length.
    Repeated openers
Many sentences starting with the same word, usually "We" or "Our".
    Empty claims
Words that claim quality without proving it: "experts", "dedicated", "peace of mind".
    No specifics
Copy with almost no numbers, names, places or dates. Specifics are what make a page the best answer.

How do you fix what it finds?

Replace every flagged phrase with something only your business could say. The fastest way is to answer the question the phrase was dodging.

FlaggedThe question it dodgesRewritten with specifics
"Your trusted partner in home equity"Why should I trust you?"Licensed in California since 2014. NMLS #000000. 300+ HELOCs closed in Orange County." (use your real numbers)
"Tailored solutions for your needs"What do you actually offer?"HELOCs from $50,000 to $500,000, up to 85% combined loan-to-value, draw period up to 10 years."
"A seamless experience from start to finish"What happens after I apply?"Apply online in 10 minutes. We call you the same business day. Most HELOCs close in two to four weeks."
"Our team of experts"Who will I talk to?"You'll work with one loan officer start to finish." Then name them, with a photo and NMLS ID.
"Contact us today"What do I get if I do?"Get your rate and maximum line amount in one call, with no hard credit pull."

The rewrites are illustrations of the kind of detail to use, not real figures. Every number must be true for your business, and mortgage pages need compliance review before publishing.

    1. Fix the stock phrases first. They're the clearest signal of sameness to a reader, and each rewrite usually adds a specific detail.
    2. Replace claims with proof. Every "expert", "trusted" or "dedicated" becomes a number, a name, a credential or an example.
    3. Vary the rhythm. Break one long sentence in two, and let a short one land on its own.
    4. Re-run the check, then read it aloud. If it sounds like something a competitor could publish unchanged, keep going.

    Common questions

What does this AI website copy checker look for?

It scores five patterns common in AI-written marketing copy: stock phrases that AI tools reach for constantly, sentences of uniform length, many sentences starting with the same word, claims of quality without proof, and a lack of numbers, names, places and dates.

How can I tell if my website copy sounds AI-written?

Look for lines that would still be true on a competitor's site: stock phrases, claims like "experts" or "peace of mind" with no proof, and no specific numbers, places or names. Paste the copy into the checker to see each one highlighted.

Is the sameness checker an AI detector?

No. It doesn't guess who or what wrote the copy. It flags sameness, the patterns that make a page interchangeable with thousands of others, whoever wrote it. A low score doesn't guarantee rankings.

Is the text I paste sent anywhere?

No. The checker runs entirely in your browser, and nothing you paste is sent to us or anyone else.
